Hassan Kibichi

Hassan Kibichi Partner- Head, Projects & Infrastructure  Practice Hassan Kibichi is a Partner leading Treowe’s Projects and Infrastructure practice. An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths, and Notary Public, Hassan brings 7 years of experience in providing strategic legal counsel on significant infrastructure projects throughout Africa. His expertise encompasses structuring Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), navigating public procurement and tendering processes, designing complex project financing frameworks, and drafting robust contracts.    Hassan’s approach is defined by a commitment to understanding both the technical intricacies and the broader impact of infrastructure development. He focuses on mitigating risks, optimizing value, and aligning the diverse interests of stakeholders, from governments and investors to contractors and communities. Prior to joining Treowe, Hassan held key legal positions at GHM Advocates LLP and DLA Piper Africa/IKM Advocates, gaining experience in corporate/commercial law, M&A, and regulatory compliance.    These options highlight Hassan’s expertise and align with Treowe’s emphasis on client-focused, strategic legal solutions for infrastructure projects.

Rahma Jillo

Head Real Estate & Conveyancing Practise Rahma Jillo Advocate & Partner at Treowe Rahma Jillo is a seasoned Advocate with over 16 years of experience in Commercial, Real Estate, Conveyance, Competition, and NGO Law. She brings a wealth of expertise in Not-for-Profit Law, honed through her role as Legal Affairs Manager at the NGOs Coordination Board. Rahma’s distinguished career includes serving as a Member of the Cooperative Tribunal and the National Jubilee Disciplinary Committee. As a Partner at Treowe, Rahma leads the Real Estate, Conveyance, and Property practice areas. She is a skilled legal practitioner with a proven track record in commercial, property, and conveyance law. Rahma holds an LLB and an LLM in Banking and Financial Services Law from the University of Nairobi. Rahma is a dedicated advocate for good governance and is actively involved in various professional and charitable organizations.
